Traveling anglers no longer need to succumb to the worry, frustration, and costs of transporting their premium single piece rods to their fishing destinations. The Steez travel rods offer these anglers the same one-piece feel and the sensitivity they expect from single piece rods.

Constructed using Daiwa’s top tier SVF Nanoplus graphite, these rods have a reduced amount of resin that is uniformly distributed through the high-density graphite. The reduction in resin binders lightens the rod increasing sensitivity while the even resin distribution ensures durability in each section.

Eliminating the plague of pressure points typically found on multi-piece rods, Daiwa has implemented V-joint technology at each of the connection points. With V-joint, the connections flex with the rod, allowing even distribution of power and flex across the entire assembled rod, enabling it to cast and fight like a single piece rod.

Furthering anglers’ potential for success, these rods come in 4 technique specific actions and 2 multi-purpose actions giving anglers the rods they need to cover to a multitude of species and applications.

Features:

• FUJI SIC RING - SiC has been the gold standard of guide ring material for over 20 years. Super hard, light, and highly polished and smooth, SiC guides are an excellent dissipater of heat making them ideal for light drags and/or big fish

• SVF NANOPLUS - Through the use of nano resin technology, SVF Nanoplus blanks are lighter and have increased sensitivity over standard SVF blanks due to their higher carbon density.

• V JOINT - Bias construction within the ferrule allows it to flex with the rod, eliminating the weak, unbending spot caused by ordinary ferrules. The result of this revolutionary technology is a multi-piece blank that matches the performance of one-piece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness.
• X-45 - Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
